Distance Croix-Morand Série Noire

Available to order now: 50% deposit online, balance on delivery. Test bike available now at Cartel.

Série Noire is a limited series of ten bikes, shared between the Croix-Morand and the Distance 45, in a single colour, Endor black, and a single build. You choose your size, we build the bike in our Beaumont workshop and deliver it within three months.

The test bike, a size S, is on display and available to test ride at Cartel, place d’Espagne in Clermont-Ferrand. While it is there, it is available straight away and paid for in full, with no deposit: choosing size S buys that very bike. The message shown under the sizes tells you so.

The Croix-Morand is Distance’s road and gravel randonneur. The frame and fork have mounts wherever you need them for a rack, mudguards and several bottle cages. Thru-axles and a UDH derailleur hanger keep it compatible with current and future drivetrains. It takes tyres up to 700 × 45, or 700 × 40 with mudguards.

The build: Microshift Sword Black 1×9 mechanical drivetrain with a 40-tooth chainring, TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes with Galfer rotors, Mavic Allroad wheels, Hutchinson Overide tyres, Ritchey RL1 cockpit, seatpost and saddle.

The bike costs €3,990. When made to order, you pay a 50% deposit here, i.e. €1,995; the balance of €1,995 is paid on delivery. The bike can be collected at Cartel, or shipped within mainland France for a flat €50, paid with the balance. The bike available straight away is paid for in full when you order, including the flat shipping rate.

Geometry for all four sizes is on the Croix-Morand page. Série Noire also comes as a gravel bike: the Distance 45 Série Noire.

The deposit is non-refundable, in accordance with our terms of sale. If you are unsure about the size, write to us before paying it.
