Its owner has now entrusted it to us for sale, in excellent condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is one of the few frames made with the Victoire 10th Anniversary series: a Columbus XCr stainless steel that Columbus produced to our specifications for \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.victoire-cycles.com\/blog\/10-ans-anniversaire-victoire\/\"\u003eVictoire's tenth anniversary\u003c\/a\u003e, in very small quantities. The frame is silver-brazed by Marc, with the brazing left visible around the seat tube and on the rear dropouts. The paint is a fade, from anthracite grey at the front to raw steel at the rear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe build is of the same standard: Campagnolo Super Record 12 WRL groupset with its hydraulic brake calipers, Chris King headset, Darimo carbon seatpost. It is sold with Campagnolo Hyperon Ultra carbon wheels and Pirelli P Zero tyres. Eighteen bikes reached the finish; this one came fifth.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis bike matters in our history: it was Victoire, together with 200 magazine, that had revived the Concours de Machines the year before. It has since been rebuilt as a gravel bike and has done a lot of riding. The paint shows the marks of those years, but the bike still has tens of thousands of kilometres ahead of it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Reynolds 853 frame separates for travel: an S\u0026amp;S coupling on the down tube and a Breakaway system at the seatpost. The crankset is a Spécialités T.A. prototype that foreshadowed the Horizon model.
